Scientific Committee

The Scientific committee is chaired by Professor George Baird. 

Professor George Baird

Emeritus Professor of Building Science, School of Architecture, Victoria University of Wellington.

George is a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (UK), the Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand and a Life Member of the New Zealand Energy Management Association. He was a recipient of the 1999 NZ Science and Technology Bronze Medal, the 2002 IPENZ Technical Award in the field of Energy Engineering, and the 2006 International Pioneers of the World Renewable Energy Network Award.
